1. How do we apply for coverage?
It's easy! Just ask your broker to mail or fax the completed
required information as soon as you can. We can usually
have the quote for you within a few days.
2. Are there minimum premiums?
Yes...our policies are subject to minimum premiums as
follows:
$300,000. Limit, $660 minimum premium.
$500,000. Limit, $820 minimum premium.
$1,000,000. Limit, $1,135 minimum premium.
3. In what states is the coverage available?
ALL states, except Louisiana and Wyoming.
4. What information is required for a quote?
• Completed, signed Brownyard application.
• Completed, signed
ACORD Application for Auto, Workers' Compensation and Property.
• Four-years of general liability loss run information.
• Copy of Broker's License and proof of Errors & Omissions
Insurance
NOTE: Although there is no original
signature required to quote, we will need the signed, original
application to bind coverages.
5. What are your carriers ratings?
We only write our program through the very best carriers
that have ratings of at least (Excellent) or better.
6. Is your Program admitted?
We provide admitted and non-admitted carriers.
7. Are your rates competitive?
The coverages we offer through our program are not only
very broad, but very reasonably priced.
8. Can I get a lower premium if I go
directly through Brownyard without a broker and their commission?
No, we value the relationship between you and your local
insurance representative and encourage you to stay with
a local broker for the best possible service.
9. Is Brownyard a member of the National Pest Control
Association (NPCA)
Yes, we are.
10. Is CCC important? I have $100,000 in coverage on my
current policy, isn't that enough?
CCC is property in the PCO's care
custody and control belonging to their
customer. It could be an oriental rug, a shelf of Hummel
figures, valuable
antiques, or mainframe computers and their data. All of
these items may be valued at well over $100,000. Be safe,
our policies can include this
valuable coverage to the full occurrence limit you choose.
11. How do the Brownyard programs compare against my current
insurance provider?

guide you to the proper answer.
12. Is Sudden And Accidental Pollution Coverage Important?
Yes, most pest control policies rely
only on the Pesticide Herbicide
Endorsement (CG2264) to provide coverage at the jobsite.
Some have even followed our lead by offering Automobile
Pollution Transit Coverage; but when faced with an unexpected
pollution hazard, not on the road or at the jobsite, Brownyard
provides Sudden and Accidental Pollution Coverage.
13. Is Site Pollution Clean Up Available?
Yes, We can provide Site Pollution Clean Up Coverage in
most states to protect your company against Governmental
Mandated clean up costs.
14. Is Termite Treatment sublimited?
No, Termite Treatment is covered as a completed operation
to the full occurrence limit.
15. Are Termite Baiting Systems covered?
Yes, We believe in providing coverage for new, proven
technology.
16. Is Integrated Pest Management (IPM) covered?
Yes, In our chemical sensitive society
it is wise to use all means available, including low tech
common sense solutions which are the cornerstone of IPM.
17. Can I get my Auto Coverage at Brownyard?
Yes, Commercial Auto is now available
for PCO's in all states except Louisiana, Wyoming, Texas
and Puerto Rico. Call our office for details.
18. Is Workers' Compensation coverage available?
Yes, it is in many states. Call Brownyard for details.
19. Does Brownyard write Property & Inland
Marine coverage?
Yes!
20. If pesticides leak or spill from a container on my
vehicle, do I have coverage?
Yes! Most other policies will only cover this type of
claim if the vehicle is involved in a collision or overturn!
Our auto transit pollution endorsement covers for leaks
and spills of pesticides regardless of a collision or overturn!!
This is very important coverage and should be taken very
seriously.
